Are you ready for your opportunity to become a trainer?
APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED
This year Medsin-UK is hosting a Training New Trainers (TNT) workshop, from the 18th-20th April 2008.
The TNT workshop is an International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA)-recognised course designed to train new trainers. Over three days, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to design and deliver training workshops. Then, the following weekend, you will be putting your new training skills into operation at the Spring General Assembly (SGA) in Leeds.
What is TNT?
Training New Trainers is a three-day course designed to teach you how to design and deliver training workshops. Although we will work from basic concepts of leadership and project management, you can use your new-found skills in combination with the IFMSA training resources to deliver workshops on just about any topic!
The culmination of the TNT weekend is the delivery of four hours training, when the new trainers will get to practice their skills! This is compulsory for the completion of the course.
Cost for Medsin participants: £25 fee + expenses (more information to come soon, depends on final numbers!)
Where?
The main TNT event will take place at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. The SGA on the following weekend (which is complulsory to complete to course) is in Leeds.
When?
18th-20th April: TNT in Newcastle
26th-27th April: SGA in Leeds to deliver the training
Attendance at both parts of the course is compulsory for completion.
Who?
- 15 TNT participants – it could be any of you!
What now?
I'm afraid we've filled all the slots on this year's TNT but watch out for other training opportunities at the SGA and National Conference. If you have any training questions then write an email and send it to Daze
