Communicating with delegates
Start Early!
Keep reminding people about the conference through phone calls and emails to branches, right up until the conference.
Consider whether you want to advertise to the IFMSA - if you decide you do want to publicise the conference to IFMSA, contact President for help with this.
It may be worth using an incentive to try to get people to sign up early, e.g. increasing the cost of the conference if you sign up less than a week before. However, this has been tried before and people still signed up very late - don’t worry if you have don't have many delegates 3-4 weeks before.
Email all delegates before they arrive, providing them with information about:
When and where to arrive
Maps and public transport information
Emergency Contact phone numbers
Name and contact details of their host
What to bring, e.g. sleeping bag
