You may remember Medsin submitted some motions to the BMA conference a few weeks ago. It was the voting session this weekend, and here's a synopsis of the motions that passed:

  1. Policy on compulsory and more inclusive Sexual and relationship education.

  2. Policy on access to health care for undocumented migrants and failed asylum seekers

  3. Policy on access to essential medicines and UAEM.

  4. Policy on arms investments and foundation trusts

  5. Policy on direct consumer advertising disguised as patient information.

  6. Policy on strengthening WHO and more democratic procedures and transparency in elections of senior officers - from Medsin motion generating workshop
