CALLING ALL Coders/Designers/Web techies! Breathe new life into our Medsin.org online presence!

Do YOU have the skills, the passion or the know-ho to help Medsin bring its online presence into the 21st century?!

Watch the video, read the message below from our outgoing Webmaster Jonny Grek and get in touch if you can be of any help!

Let’s talk about medsin.org

Picture this: you’ve just heard about the latest Apple product / favourite musician’s new album / radical student organisation. But where are you going to find out more information?

Their website. Apple.com / planetjedward.net / medsin.org. Each website has the power to inform you. To inspire you. To get you involved.

Here at Medsin, we’re not making full use of that power. Jedward’s website allows the user to buy concert tickets at the click of a button; to learn about Jedward’s long musical history; to meet Jedward. At Medsin’s website, we don’t even tell the user what Medsin is.

We must change this. Over the course of the year, Medsin.org has laid out plans for its own future: offering a slicker design, user-friendly navigation system, with social profiling functionality. But we need your help to bring these plans to fruition.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic collective of graphic designers and web programmers to make the changes we want to see on the website. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in helping Medsin.org reach the next stage in its development, then please get in touch with Jonny Grek at web.development@medsin.org.

Medsin is proud to have secured a certain amount of funding, which would be available to finance any help that you could offer towards renovating Medsin.org, in line with the goals that we set up at the start of the Medsin calendar year.

What myself, and the Medsin team had set our sights on in 2009 was a renovated medsin.org, in line with a charity in the 21st century - employing social profiling, easy-to-use content management, and simple team-to-team handovers.

Any help with this could be massively helpful for a charity that does fantastic work with global health advocacy and training. A fully-functioning and integrated website could go a huge way to helping us achieve some of the goals of the charity, and access those in need of our support.

Please do get in touch if you'd like more information on what could be a very exciting, and rewarding opportunity.

Thanks for reading.
