News Flash - Elsevier to pull out of hosting Arms Fair's

Crispin Davies wrote that customers and authors in the medical and science markets have concerns about the involvement of Reed Elseveir in arms fairs. He continued to state that their genuine concerns must be paramount.
This follows a couple of months of fierce campaigning about the issue that has seen Medsin and our Members write a letter to The Lancet, Start an Arms Campaign, Attend the Reed Elseveir AGM, be part of a submission of a motion to the BMA medical students conference, sign petitions and write letters.
The National Committee would like to say a big thanks to all of you for getting involved. This is truly a campaign success to be proud of.
The future of Medsin's campaigning is great, and we hope that this success will encourage more members to get involved.
