Medecins du Monde (MdM)
As well as sending volunteers oversees to provide medical care to vulnerable people affected by natural disasters, conflict and extreme poverty MdM run projects in capital cities for marginalised populations that cannot access mainstream healthcare services.
In London this is Project:London, an advocacy project that provides information, advice and practical assistance to vulnerable people to help them access NHS and other services. Two reports were written by LSE students volunteering at the project. Both are available here.
The Project:London Annual Reports are available here.
MdM also generated a report that examined the difficulty of access to healthcare in six European countries.
All of these documents are used by MdM to advocate for vulnerable people to get the medical care they get need.
