How do I add news to the site?

Adding news to the site is really simple. First of all, you need a user account and be signed in. Then, simply visit the news page, and inside the box marked 'We Want Your News', click the link to submit a new item.

Give it a sensible title, and write the main text in the large box. More information about the formatting used is available.

Remember that your news will be read by people from around the country, so make sure that you write with that in mind. If the news is about a branch, project or campaign, make sure you select the appropriate ones from the drop down boxes.

Once submitted, the news item will go into the queue for review by the website team. Unless it's utter gibberish, it'll be added to the site, and be visible to all!
