Stop Climate Chaos - Campaign Action
18th October 10.30am, outside Parliament
At this critical time, this action will show support for the Climate Change Act and emphasise the importance of the UK's green economy. This is ahead of key Government decisions on the future of the country’s energy mix and whether aviation and shipping will be included in UK carbon budgets. It will send a clear and visible message to Government and MPs as they return to Parliament.
We're inviting the whole Stop Climate Chaos coalition (and many others) to come together to show support for the Climate Act and our flourishing green economy on Thursday 18th October, from 9.30am to 12.00pm.
This stunt will bring together over two hundred high profile and diverse people. Chief Executives and representatives of SCC member organisations, faith groups, celebrities, green industry and others from across civil society will come together to show the strength and breadth of support for the Climate Change Act and the green economy.
