NGOs and Health Organisations
Medsin works with the following Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Health Organisations.
Médecins du Monde
Médecins du Monde is an international humanitarian aid organisation that recruits medical and non-medical volunteers, who provide healthcare for vulnerable populations around the world. Their work focuses on 3 areas: responding to humanitarian crises, natural disasters and conflict situations; rehabilitation of health care systems in the aftermath of emergencies; and long-term development in the form of projects which support local health systems and promote health education and training.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a leading non-governmental organisation for emergency medical aid. MSF provide independent medical relief to victims of war, disasters and epidemics in over 80 countries around the world. They strive to provide assistance to those who need it most, regardless of ethnic origin, religion or political affiliation.
MSF also campaigns for fairer access to medicines and health care for the world’s poorest people.
THET

The Tropical Health Education Trust, THET for short, helps forge longterm and sustainable links between health institutions in developing countries and their counterparts in the UK. Medsin has been working with THET, to help promote their Health Links programmes to medical students.
