Delegation Plans

See the attached document for an introduction to our delegation and the campaign plans for the meeting.

Dates for the meeting

Pre-General Assembly (Pre-GA): 3-7th March, 2010 This will involve workshops, training and generally an opportunity for you to meet a smaller group of the conference's delegates before the big meeting itself.

General Assembly (GA): 7-13th March, 2010

Post-GA Tour: TBC

How much will it cost?

Registration fees are TBA but will likely be around £300 per delegates. This includes food and accommodation, but travel will be paid by yourself.

Medsin-UK is unable to provide financial support to its delegates to IFMSA meetings however will happily provide advice for fundraising and an endorsing letter for universities, grant-making bodies and any group to which you wish to apply for support.

Pre-GA fees will be around £100.

How do I apply?

The deadline for applications is Friday the 20th of November at 12pm.

Please complete the attached application form to this page and send it to president@medsin.org by the above deadline.

There are always many more applications than places. For that reason you should spend time on your application form - you need to sell yourself. Feel free to change the sizes of the boxes in the word document, but bear in mind that the National Committee have to read lots of forms, so it's not advisable to waffle :)

If you have any questions please email Jonny at president@medsin.org and have a look at the work of IFMSA.

More information about the IFMSA can be found at http://www.medsin.org/externals/ifmsa

Absolutely anyone can apply, there are guaranteed places for those new to Medsin, as well as those with more experience.

Good luck, and we look forward to reading your applications!
