This event has been and gone.
Medsin will be hosting a Global Health Day on Saturday 12th May from 1pm - 5pm at the Institute for Child Health, UCL. The theme is 'Health as a Foreign Policy'.
Health as a Foreign Policy
This is going to be a fantastic afternoon in which you'll be able to explore the hot topic of health as a foreign policy. There are 4 great speakers lined up to talk about the main issues. After you've heard what they've got to say the afternoon will finish in a panel discussion, to explore the issues raised further.
This is a unique opportunity to meet these interesting speakers and learn about an emerging topic. The afternoon will allow for longer speeches than at a Medsin conference and also a more intimate panel discussion so we can all really debate the issues.
This exciting afternoon will mean that Medsin members old and new can interact and share views. In the spirit of this, the afternoon will be chaired by Emily Spry the past president of Medsin and the IFMSA.
