International Development Conference

Newcastle University are hosting their first International Development Conference (IDC)on November 1st 2008.
IDCs are currently run in Oxford, Cambridge, Cardiff and Sussex. They are organised for students by students with the aim of promoting and furthering development awareness in universities.
The day will consist of talks, workshops and a debate from specialists in the development field. Including Barry Knight- co-author of "Reviving Democracy", various NGO representatives, geopolitic and economic lecturers and others.
