Your Aim:

To provide an EXCITING, CREATIVE and ORIGINAL piece of a media which portrays what YOU feel Medsin-UK is!

What are we looking for?

As outlined above we are looking for a creative piece which conveys something that defines, illustrates or reflects the Medsin network as a whole. Medsin is a large network incorporating many exciting projects and campaigns with branches all over the country. So go on then challenge your creative skills!!

I’m new to Medsin?.. What is it?

If you're new to MEDSIN then no worries!!

Medsin is a network of students with an interest in health, all working to combat inequalities in local and global communities. This is achieved through working in local projects, campaigning and hosting regional and national educational events.

Adjudication Process:

All submissions to be made to competition@medsin.org by midnight of the 21st of February 2010. Submissions will first be assessed by the national committee, narrowing to the top 10 pieces.The resulting 10 will in turn be assessed by Miss Laura Henry, Multimedia Producer located in Canary Wharf London. Laura graduated from The University of The Arts (LCC) in 2006, with a BA Hons Graphic & Media Design (Moving image). She has produced video materials for live events, such as the large scale production for Glastonbury Festival in 2007 as well as post production and documentary and produces visuals for recording artists and events as well as music videos, photography and artist promotional material. Feedback will be provided on the top 5 and the overall winner will be selected. Subsequently the overall winner will be announced during the Global Health Conference to be held on the 27th and 28th of March 2010.

Terms and Conditions.

National Committee members are not permitted to apply for this competition. All creative pieces must be original pieces of the person submitting and all responsibility will lie with this person should the item breach copyright laws. All copyrights are waived by applicants on original pieces in submitting to this competition for a period of no less than 3 years. It remains the right of the Medsin-UK National Committee to change the terms and conditions of this competition, how they see fit at any point.
