Sheffield
Medsin-Sheffield is finally up and running!
We are still a fairly small branch and want to get YOU involved! To be a part of our projects or campaigns, or if you want to get something new going click here and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Sheffield Medsin's Activities
Crossing Borders
We have regular opportunities to volunteer with asylum seekers and refugees in the city centre, run educational events for both British and migrant populations, fundraise for charities working with asylum seekers and campaign on behalf of local and national causes.
Save a Baby's Life
After taking longer than anticipated to get off the ground training will be happening soon, with subsequent opportunities for trainees to work with new mums around the city.
Medaid
We are collecting medical supplies and equipment for elective students to take overseas, to hospitals and clinics for them to be put to good use. This year's batch of students travelling abroad will be the first to take equipment out!
Teddy Bear Hospital and Marrow
These are run independently from Medsin in Sheffield and can be contacted on . . .
