Stand Up Speak Out against poverty

This week marks the return of Stand Up and Speak Out Against Poverty. Campaigners are aiming to break the record for the largest number of people mobilising to call world leaders to end poverty, inequality and to meet the Millennium Development Goals.

See the toolkit attached for more information on how to take action. Briefly, we're suggesting you mobilise your branch members in a memorable location with signs saying "World Leaders get on track to meet the millennium development goals" and "The race is on to end global poverty and inequality"

The toolkit details more about different actions, how to do a press release and a pledge to read out to those attending.
