Applying

Have a read of the official job descriptions (attached to this page), and of the current committee's take on their role. Once you've decided which position(s) to go for send a 500 word 'statement of motivation' to the committee@medsin.org by Saturday 30th April, 2011.

A signed candidature form (also attached to this page) must be handed to the National Secretary before the beginning of the first voting session at the Spring General Assembly. If this is not received, your candidature is invalid.

Appear at the Spring General Assembly, where you will be given two minutes in which to tell the Voting Members (Branch Presidents and Activity Coordinators) why they should vote for you.

Voting

Voting will then take place using a form of the Single Transferable Vote system. The elected candidate will take office from August-September and will receive a handover with the outgoing National Committee in May.
