President - Gemma Owens - Facebook

Gemma's main responsibilities can be divided into three parts. Firstly, supporting and motivating the National Committee to ensure that the team has a successful year and achieves as much for the Medsin Network as possible. Secondly, representing Medsin to external organisations such as the British Medical Association, Medact, the Lancet and IHMEC to name a few. Thirdly, representing Medsin to the IFMSA and inputting into their working groups. Vice-President for Branches - Helen Preston - Facebook

Helen's main job is to be in contact with the Medsin branches to ensure that they can make the most of the Medsin network by being informed, involved in decision making and well supported in undertaking new initiatives. She is also the person who supports new branches in setting up and becoming part of the Medsin network. In addition to this, Helen works with Gemma and the other Vice-Presidents to ensure the smooth running of National Medsin and the National Committee. Vice-President for Projects - Emily Finnigan
Emily's job involves keeping in touch with all the Medsin Projects and making sure that they are getting as much as possible out of the Medsin network. She also supports new projects in becoming part of the Medsin network. Along with this Emily works with Gemma and the other Vice-Presidents to ensure the smooth running of Medsin and the National Committee. If you're part of a Medsin Project and want some more information, if you want your project to become part of the Medsin network or if you need some help in setting up a project, then don't hesitate to get in contact with Emily.
Vice-President for External Affairs - Simon Lex

Simon's main responsibility is to secure funding for the Medsin network with the help of Rafi, the treasurer. Simon also has other responsibilities which include working with James, publicity director, to ensure that Medsin has a good external image, working with Gemma to ensure that Medsin is well represented and supporting the National Committee in ensuring that they know all about Charity status and law. Simon works with Gemma and the other Vice-Presidents to ensure the smooth running of National Medsin and the National Committee. Secretary - Gemma Cubbin - Facebook

Gemma keeps the Medsin network up to date. She produces the Newsletter, keeps the news and resources bits of the website up to date, and produces minutes and presentations. She also supports the work of the rest of the national committee. If you have any questions about what's going on in the Medsin network, get in touch with Gemma.
Treasurer - Rafi Rogans-Watson - Facebook

Rafi's job is to keep on top of Medsin's money. He keeps the National Committee up to date with finances, as well as keeping accounts for the Charity Commission, and liaising with conference organisers about money matters or cash concerns. Another one of Rafi's responsibilities is to work with Selina on fundraising for Medsin. Rafi also supports the work of the rest of the national committee, particularly to provide extra support to Pete and Jenny, the Campaigns Directors. Communications and Technology Director - Matt Brandwood - Facebook

Matt's role is twofold. The main part of his job is to be responsible for the website: he is the first point of call for website and email enquiries. Along with this, Matt works to improve communications within the Medsin National Committee, making sure that they are working most effectively for the Network, whether that be with good emailing, wikis or blogs. Publicity Director - James Chan

James spends his time publicising Medsin. His main task is to produce publicity materials including CD's, tshirts and leaflets. He also works with Selina and Matt on corporate branding. If you need any advice on publicity please get in touch with James.
Campaigns Directors - Pete Baker Facebook & Jennifer Riches Facebook

Their main responsibility is to work with the coordinators of each campaign, supporting them and helping them to work as a campaigns team. They work to promote campaigning in the network, and help conferences to take actions on the issues they raise. Pete & Jen are also available to help anyone who wants set up a campaign within the Medsin network. They work closely with Emily to coordinate the Activities Board to facilitate communication between all of Medsin's Projects and Campaigns. Get in touch with Pete & Jen about campaigns.
Training Director - Daisy Acres - Facebook
Daze coordinates the training within the Medsin Network. Training plays a major part in the way that Medsin works, providing members with essential skills to improve their branch, project or campaign. Daze also provides training support to the national committee. In order to facilitate all of this, Daze keeps in touch with a network of Medsin trainers. Daze ensures that the training network grows by organsing 'Training New Trainers' courses. If you are interested in Medsin training, want a trainer to attend your branch or need advice on any of the training topics get in touch with Daze.
